                                                               Day #1
We all know how road trips are, stuffy cramped cars, stuck in the car with annoying siblings for hours on end, loud choruses of "Are we there yet?"  And most of all... No Wifi! Yep you heard it folks, No Wifi! I know mindblowing right! A couple hours with out your phone! I mean unless you have Data then that's another story.. For me, none.

One other Canadian fun fact, There are no Dunkin Doughnuts! Instead there is a canadian version called Tim Hortons. It's the exact same except Tim Horton's "munchkins" are called "timbits." Which my sister loves. Like LOVES!

                                    Language
Image result for montreal flagNow that I have explained the bigger things let me let you in on a couple of details, about the language and currency and stuff like that.... for one in some places, for example Quebec and Montrial, the mostly speak french as their natural language. But luckily for me they also speak English. First they say, "Bonjour" and then "Hi" or "Hello". If you respond with "bonjour" then they assume that you speak french. And vise versa. So if you only know a few words, like me.... then don't try them out with someone who is french. They will 9 times out of 10 speak to you in french. So take my advice and say hello!

   Money
Image result for canadian moneyThe money in canada is different than our American money. For those of you who don't know what I mean, I'll explain. American money has 25% more worth than Canadian. Also canadian money is plastic and colorful. Where as our American money is paper and green. Lastly they have 1$ and 2$ coins. The 2 dollar coin is about the size of our dollar coins. It is a silver ring around a dime sized gold circle with a picture of Queen Elizabeth. They are very fond of her.

Hotels
The hotel we stayed in was called Crowne Plaza. It wasn't our very favorite hotel but we made due with what we had.
